Dr. Nancy Holm Dawson has more than 40 years of professional work in education and mental health. She currently maintains a private mental health practice in her home in Elizabethtown, New York, where she specializes in consultation, neurocognitive assessment and care planning. The life experiences and academic training of Dr. Dawson have provided the experiential and educational foundation for her research and book “Epidemics: Fear and the Dementia Connection.”

Sara Stone is the North Country Regional Director of Care Management for Care Design New York. She has worked in the field supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities for over 20 years. Sara has also received specialized training in Person Centered Thinking and Planning.

Hannah became interested in financial planning during her time as a branch manager of a local bank. She saw the anxiety and confusion that surrounds money and found that the pressure could be relieved with careful research, planning, and discussion.
Hannah enjoys working with families and small businesses to craft and implement financial plans that are tailored to their individual needs. Additionally, she has a deep interest in working with families and individuals where a disability is present. Hannah is a Registered Representative of Securities America, an Investment Advisor Representative of Securities America Advisors, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional and a Chartered Special Needs Consultant.
Outside of the office, Hannah is active with United Way of the Adirondacks and Joint Council for Economic Opportunities, Inc. Along with her husband, Bradley, she is raising three quirky kids in Morrisonville.

TARA ANNE PLEAT, Esq., CELA*, co-owns the law firm Wilcenski & Pleat PLLC. She practices in the areas of special needs estate planning and administration, traditional estate planning and administration, long-term care planning, and elder law. Tara graduated cum laude from Albany Law School with honors in the Estate Planning concentration and earned her undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Albany.
Tara is a past Chair of the Elder Law and Special Needs Section of the New York State Bar Association. She is also an active member of the Trusts and Estates Law Section. She is honored to be a member of the Special Needs Alliance, an invitation-only, national network of leading attorneys dedicated to the practice of disability and public benefits law, where she serves on the Board of Directors and co-chairs the Publications Committee. She is also a Member of the Academy of Special Needs Planners and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of New York NAELA.
In the fall of 2012, Tara was appointed as an adjunct professor of law at Albany Law School, where she teaches a course in the spring semester on estate and financial planning for the elderly and individuals with special needs. As of January 2021, Tara is a co-author of the Lexis-Nexis Publication, New York Elder Law.
